'Transference' VR game wants you to feel unsettled
It's unclear whether Transference is a movie or a game, but Ubisoft made it clear that it wants you to feel uneasy when experiencing it in the trailer revealed at its E3 press conference in Los Angeles today.
Transference's trailer is pretty vague but it definitely feels like its a suspenseful experience. The trailer's description reveals its a bridge between games and movies and follows the "tale of a man’s obsession as you explore his digitally recreated memories." Also Elijah Wood is involved somehow.
Transference is scheduled to release in spring 2018 on PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, PS4, Xbox One, and PC, meaning it will be playable without virtual reality too. Read more...
