NO NAJIB NOT SELLING MALAYSIA, NO CHINA NOT COLONIZING MALAYSIA: LIOW INSISTS BEIJING POURING IN BILLIONS DUE TO CONFIDENCE IN MALAYSIA’S STABILITY
GEORGE TOWN – Malaysia attracts huge investments from other nations because they believe in the stability of the country and its government, Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai Liow said.
Referring to vast investments from Saudi Arabia, India and China, the MCA president said:
“Why do they invest and give their support to our country? They do so because they have faith in our country’s stability, our government under the leadership of Barisan Nasional, and they believe that our country has a good future.
“We are very focused in ensuring positive development, unlike the Opposition, which practises double standards and tries to run us down,” he told a press conference after launching the Penang MCA’s Belt and Road Centre (Mbrace) at Vistana Hotel in Bukit Jambul Sunday.
He criticised the Opposition for criticising the Government when it obtained loans and support from China.
“Some said that the country will be colonised by China while others said we are selling the country.
“These are false accusations.
“The Opposition tries to run us down, but what happens when Penang obtained loans from China?” Liow said.
