Malaysian wholesale and retail trade sales value grows 9.6% y-o-y to RM92.8 bil in April
KUALA LUMPUR (June 13): Wholesale and retail trade in Malaysia grew 9.6% year-on-year in sales value at RM92.8 billion in April this year, according to the Statistics Department of Malaysia.
The sales value was largely contributed by wholesale trade at RM45.2 billion, followed by retail trade at RM36.3 billion and motor vehicles at RM11.4 billion, the Statistics Department said in the statement today.
The growth was contributed by retail trade at 12.9%.
