A comedy series recently released on YouTube has one episode that practically serves as “a girl’s guide to not getting grabbed the pu**y.”

In its fifth episode, titled “Pu$$y,” “Misery Loves Company” gives tips on how to deal with cat-callers lurking on the streets, from repelling attention to going all-out freaky.

The web series, which consists of seven episodes, was created and written by Emily C. Chang and Sara Amini. It tells the story of a New Yorker who joins her friend in Los Angeles to live together amidst socio-cultural chaos seen in experiences of misogyny, racism and #MillennialProblems, among others.

Taking some inspiration from Hollywood issues and the current political atmosphere, Chang and Amini hoped to give their two cents through a creative direction.

“We wanted to make a show that would portray the narratives of women of color that we weren’t seeing on TV,” Amini told the Angry Asian Man. “Being an Asian/Latina/Middle Eastern female in Hollywood usually relegates us to the sidelines, but not if we’re at the helm behind and in front of the camera.”

Chang added, “After Trump’s election, the world around us changed. We decided to explore what that meant to people like us: how do we deal with serious topics like racism, sexism, and depression through laughter and creativity? ‘Misery Loves Company’ was the perfect answer to this.”
