RHB BANK CUSTOMER WINS BMW 7 SERIES
KUALA LUMPUR – Tan Huat Soon, a businessman from Johor Baru, is now being chauffeured around in his new ride, a brand-new BMW 730Li worth RM600,000 he won as the RHB Bank “Drive Home A BMW Series” campaign’s grand prize.
The 62-year-old was among the bank’s 13 lucky customers who walked (and in Tan’s case, drove) away with attractive prizes out of the four-month-long campaign. Tan, who already has a driver to drive him around “for certain occasions”, intends to keep the German limousine.
The deposit campaign which was held from June 15 to Oct 14, 2016 was open to RHB Bank’s Conventional Current Account Savings Account (CASA) new and existing customers. Customers who deposited a minimum of RM50,000 into their RHB Bank CASA had the opportunity to win Philips home appliances, with the BMW limousine as the grand prize. With every multiple of RM100,000, customers were eligible for contest entries and stood to win the grand prize or monthly prizes.
Speaking to theSun after the prize-giving ceremony this morning, RHB Banking Group’s retail banking acting head, Nazri Othman, said: “This campaign is aimed at encouraging customers to save more and to be rewarded for their wise financial management. It takes a lot to self-discipline to maintain your savings, and through this campaign we were able to inculcate the habit of savings among our customers.”
The group will be launching its second wave of deposit campaign in the third quarter of this year and customers can expect to win attractive prizes including a car and gold-plated figurines, among others.
