A witness to the fatal explosion at a concert in Manchester said that her bags were not searched upon entering the venue.
Mother Kirstyn Pollard, who was taking her daughter to see pop star Ariana Grande, told Sky News that she was surprised not to have been searched by security upon entering the Manchester Arena.
Twenty-two people were killed and dozens more injured in the blast which was caused by an apparent suicide bomber setting off an improvised explosive device.
