You’ll probably recognize him as Mr. Chow in “The Hangover” and Ben Chang in NBC’s “Community”, but Ken Jeong has now been cast in Warner Bros’ “Crazy Rich Asians”!

He is the latest actor to join the all-Asian romantic comedy alongside Constance Wu, Henry Golding, Gemma Chan, Awkwafina and Michelle Yeoh. It is unknown at this time what role Jeong will be playing in the film.

Directed by Jon M. Chu, “Crazy Rich Asians” was adapted from Kevin Kwan’s best-selling novel of the same name, which follows native New Yorker Rachel Chu (Wu) as she travels to Singapore with her boyfriend Nick Young (Golding) to attend the wedding of his best friend, played by actor Chris Pang.

Rachel soon discovers that Nick comes from an extremely wealthy family and is the most eligible bachelor in Asia, so all the single ladies in this high society want her out of the picture.

Published in 2013, “Crazy Rich Asians” is the first book in a trilogy and has nearly 1 million copies in print around the globe; the third novel “Rich People Problems” hits stores this summer from Doubleday, according to Deadline.

The movie is being shot entirely on location in Singapore and Malaysia.

The casting announcement comes just a day after ABC pulled the plug on Jeong’s sitcom “Dr. Ken”, which lasted for two seasons, according to NBC News.

A family sitcom loosely based on Jeong’s days as a physician before becoming an actor, “Dr. Ken” also starred actress Suzy Nakamura who played his psychiatrist wife and Krista Marie Yu and Albert Tsai as his two kids.

Jeong and other cast members expressed their thoughts about the show’s cancellation on Thursday on Twitter.

We still love you, Ken Jeong!
